Summary: Pedernales Electric Cooperative is looking for a safety conscious individual to join our Training department. The Electrical Safety Instructor facilitates safety meetings and develops and conducts safety and electrical training for employees. This position requires excellent communication skills and public speaking experience, with strong attention to detail. Special training in electrical theory and design, DDC, Emergency First Aid and CPR instructor training, climbing school and other safety and electrical training is preferred.

Summary: Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking a versatile writer/editor to join the Communications team. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who has an understanding of internal and external communications. The successful candidate will possess skills to produce pieces such as press releases, feature stories, print and online ads, web content and talking points; be comfortable with traditional and emerging social/web mediums; and have the ability to easily identify issues, then propose and implement targeted communications campaigns.
