• If I registered for online access at www.pec.coop prior to September 2012, will my web login information transfer to the PEC Member Portal?

  No. All members who manage their accounts online via the PEC website will be prompted to re-register for the PEC Member Portal.

• What information will I need to register for access to the PEC Member Portal?

  You will need your meter and account numbers, which can be found on your PEC bill, and an email address. You’ll also be asked to create a User ID (2 to 12 characters, no spaces or special characters), a password (6 to 20 characters, no spaces), and to select and answer a security question. After registration, you will be sent an email to activate your account. After activating your account, you will use your User ID and password to log on. Learn more about online registration »

• The link I received to activate my online registration has expired. Why?

  For security purposes, the link contained in the email you receive after submitting your registration information online expires after 48 hours. If you register but are unable to activate your account within two days, please visit the Contact Us page and report a technical issue using the online form, or call us toll-free at 1-888-554-4732 between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Friday for assistance.

• What self-service features are available in the PEC Member Portal?

  You may pay your bill, manage your account and initiate service requests online. For more information on these features, visit the Getting Started page.

• Can I change my User ID in the PEC Member Portal?

  The User ID you create when registering your PEC account in the member portal cannot be changed. However, you can delete your current registration and re-register with a different User ID.

  To delete your current registration, log on to the PEC Member Portal, go to the "Account Preferences" screen using the navigation on the left side of the page, and click the "Cancel Account" button at the bottom of the screen.

  As a reminder, you will need your account and meter numbers to re-register with a new User ID. Those numbers are available on your most recent bill, so before canceling your current account you may want to visit the "Billing and Payments" screen, view your bill by clicking on the PDF icon in the "View Bill" column and make a note of those numbers.

• I recently made a payment. Why isn't it showing up on the PEC Member Portal?

  Depending on how and when you make a payment, it may take up to 24 hours to be reflected in the balance displayed on the Billing and Payments screen in the PEC Member Portal. If it's been more than 24 hours and your balance is not updated, please contact us.

• What browsers are supported by the PEC Member Portal?

  It is recommended that you use one of the following supported browsers and activate JavaScript® and cookies:

  2. Mozilla® Firefox
  3. Google Chrome
