PEC Scholarship Program

PEC recently awarded scholarships to 30 deserving high school seniors. In 2012,  the Cooperative increased the amount available to top students. High school seniors whose parents or legal guardians are PEC members were eligible to apply for five $5,000 scholarships and 25 $1,000 scholarships. The deadline to apply for a 2012 PEC scholarship was March 23, 2012.

PEC helps graduating seniors further their education by awarding scholarships that may be applied toward tuition, fees and expenses at any college, university, junior college, technical school or trade school. The PEC Scholarship Committee chooses the judges who determine scholarship recipients. Judges select recipients based on information provided on the application, prior academic performance, standardized test results and financial need. The judges also consider motivation and character.
