District 2 Director Emily Pataki was elected to the PEC board in 2014. She is a board member of the Association of Women in Energy. She has previously served as president and vice president of the Williamson County Republican Women and was a 2014 Texas Federation of Republican Women honoree. In 2010, she served as a citizen representative on the City of Cedar Park Web Development Board.
Pataki is currently an independent writing consultant for corporations, nonprofits and individuals. She also serves on the Board of Atec, Inc., an aerospace engineering company that provides high quality products for the aerospace and energy industries. From 2007 to 2010, she was vice president and owner of Houston-based gourmet foods company, La Gringa Gourmet Inc.
Pataki holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Yale University in New Haven, Conn. She and her husband have three children.
