John Davis

Chief Financial Officer

John Davis leads and manages the cooperative’s finance and markets matters.

Before joining PEC, John spent 25 years working with natural gas utilities and interstate pipelines for Southern Union Company and Energy Transfer, where he served as vice president controller for its Texas and Missouri divisions. As assistant controller at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), Davis focused on improving the rate of return on investments and adherence to regulatory best practices. Prior to his experience in the regulated energy sector, Davis worked in public accounting with an emphasis on initial public offerings and audits of financial institutions.

Davis graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance. He is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in Texas.
