Wayne McKee

Vice President, Operations

Wayne McKee oversees the cooperative’s six operational regions. He is responsible for system construction, maintenance, emergency restoration efforts and warehousing.

McKee has 36 years of electric utility experience. After joining PEC in 1999, he managed PEC’s Bertram and Liberty Hill districts. In those roles, he was responsible for the districts’ member services, operations, maintenance, construction and the safety of the electrical distribution system.

McKee began his career with Texas Electric Service Company, which later became TXU. While there, he held various positions within construction, engineering, distribution operations and information technology.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He lives in Round Rock with his wife Lisa.
