PEC appoints Don Ballard to role of general counsel
Previously served as Vice President of Legal Services
The PEC Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Ballard into the role of general counsel, effective immediately.
“The strategic move of bringing our general counsel back in house at PEC, allows our organization to better respond to the cooperative’s legal needs,” Board President Emily Pataki said. “Ballard brings a diverse and strong legal background to the position.”
Since joining PEC a little over two years ago, Ballard has served as vice president of legal services. He previously worked at the Public Utility Counsel of Texas, where he was appointed Public Counsel. Additionally, he served as a member of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas’ Board of Directors.
