PEC wins big at 2017 Texas Lineman’s Rodeo

Congratulations to all 5 lineworkers who placed at the competition!

Forget about spurs, Stetsons and bulls; it’s all about hard hats, harnesses and poles at the annual Texas Lineman’s Rodeo in Seguin.

On July 16, PEC lineworkers endured blistering heat as they competed against lineworkers from 21 electric utilities in events such as the pole climb, hurt man rescue and more. As always, our lineworkers made us proud. Give it up for the following PEC winners:

Man employee with trophy

First place overall, apprentice division
Lineworker Apprentice Nick Morris of Canyon Lake

First place, apprentice written test
