PEC Lineworker Nick Morris claims 3 wins at International Lineman’s Rodeo

Our nine competitors did us proud

On Oct. 14, two PEC journeyman teams and three PEC lineworker apprentices competed in the 34th annual International Lineman’s Rodeo in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

We are proud to announce PEC Lineworker Apprentice 3 Nick Morris from our Canyon Lake district won fifth place on the written test, first place in the cooperative apprentice division​​ and third place in the overall apprentice division.

“It felt really good to represent PEC, and everything finally paid off,” Morris said. “Everyone from PEC helped us succeed up there, and I hope when I compete as an apprentice for the last time next year, I’ll place first overall.”
