PEC, members contribute $24K to local education foundations and libraries
Twenty-four organizations received $1,000 each
At PEC, we understand supporting Central Texas’ youth is key to creating a powerful future for the region. That’s why we distribute annual contributions to local education foundations within, or surrounded by, our service territory.*

Twenty-four organizations each received a $1,000 donation to spend toward initiatives they support. Last year, for example, Marble Falls Independent School District staff used the funds to purchase children’s books for local medical office waiting rooms and encouraged staff to remind parents about the importance of reading to their kids.
“At PEC, we believe in powering our communities and empowering future generations through education,” PEC Community Relations Coordinator Caroline Tinsley Porter said. “We’re proud to be an advocate for our local education foundations that support local teachers and students in so many meaningful ways.”
