PEC hosts 2019 annual meeting
Cooperative highlights business strategy and commitment to members
More than 250 members attended PEC’s 2019 Annual Meeting June 22 in Horseshoe Bay. This year’s event provided members the opportunity to meet with PEC staff and hear from experts about projects and initiatives we are focused on.

We provided highlights from 2018 and discussed steps we’re taking to provide the best possible service to our members. PEC leadership spoke about undergoing historic growth and offered a glimpse into our future.
“Something that sets PEC apart from other utilities is our never-ending commitment to our members and our communities,” said CEO Julie C. Parsley.
“Last year was one of growth, resiliency, and achievement — and I couldn’t be more proud to have worked for, and been a part of it all.”
Members who attended had the chance to meet and mingle with fellow members while participating in family-friendly activities. Our Vegetation Maintenance Team and lineworkers from the PEC Rodeo Team manned engaging exhibits for members to explore. A few lucky members won door prizes including bill credits, Nest thermostats, Southwest Airlines gift cards, and a Horseshoe Bay Resort gift card.
Annual meeting also marked the culmination of board elections in districts 4 and 5 with winners announced at the end of the meeting.
