PEC announces 2019 Texas Lineman’s Rodeo Team

Lineworkers will test their skills against the state’s best

Three journeyworker teams and nine apprentices will proudly represent PEC at the Texas Lineman’s Rodeo July 20 in Seguin, Texas. The PEC crew in blue will compete against lineworkers from other Texas electric utilities in events such as the pole climb, hurt man rescue, and more.

The Texas Lineman’s Rodeo was formed to offer Texas’ lineworkers a place to showcase their skills in competition while also enjoying a weekend of family fun. The rodeo is often the best opportunity for a lineworker’s family to witness first-hand what their loved one’s job is all about. The festivities in Seguin also include a barbecue cookoff, golf tournament, fish fry, music, and dancing.

Meet the 2019 PEC Texas Lineman’s Rodeo Team:
