PEC members targeted by phone scams
Members of Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) are reporting calls from people claiming to represent PEC and demanding immediate payment to avoid disconnection.
If PEC members receive similar calls, they are encouraged to hang up and call PEC immediately at 888-554-4732. PEC will never call to threaten service disconnection if payment is not made immediately, and will never ask members to pay with a prepaid card.
