Comfort for $4.30 a day
June’s average daily use is about the cost of a fast food combo
What kind of “modern luxury” can you buy these days for under $5? PEC’s Senior Energy Services Advisor Brian Curtsinger reviewed members’ bills in June and found the average daily cost for electricity was about $4.30 per day.
Compare that to an average fast food combo or latte, and you’ll see the cost of electricity may be cheaper than you think.
“For less than $5 a day, we can wash our clothes, have the comfort of air conditioning, keep our food refrigerated, and use our favorite electronic devices,” Curtsinger said. “What a bargain electricity really is!”
