Grateful member shares experience

Dear Julie and Board Members:

My name is Marc Duster, and I have enjoyed the reliability and partnership from PEC since 2006 when I purchased my first home in Buda. I expect you hear from customers regularly when things don’t go as planned, so I think it’s only fair to share with you when expectations are exceeded, especially the way they were last Thursday, the 26^th.

My power was interrupted on Thursday. My 220-volt appliances wouldn’t work, only half of my home outlets/lines had power, and both my upstairs and downstairs AC’s would not turn on. It was 85 degrees upstairs in my home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. I have a family, and their security and comfort is my primary mission in life. It was a very concerning situation.

Luckily, this concern was promptly addressed. It was humbling and exciting to see Grady Vasquez and Johnny Hage pull up in their (very clean and professional) PEC company vehicles. They arrived sometime around 11 p.m. Thursday. Grady and Johnny quickly identified the problem – a faulty meter socket – and had the matter resolved within about an hour.

Yes, I was beyond impressed. My wife was very excited when the lights came back on and even more excited when the AC’s kicked on again. You, Grady, and Johnny made this happen. But what was more impressive was the attitude and brand that both Grady and Johnny brought along with them. They smiled and we laughed together while they were doing their work. The best part was when they said, “Don’t worry sir, we got this.” They are simply great, awesome guys.

I trust that you are as proud of these two gentlemen as I am. Thank you for the hard work you do every day. I trust PEC, I trust you, and Grady and Johnny have earned my trust for a lifetime! The Duster’s are honored to be part of the PEC Family. Thank you!
