Supporting our communities: The Dog Alliance

Changing lives, four paws at a time

For veterans with PTSD and other disabilities, service dogs not only provide companionship, they can make life better. That’s the mission of the Dog Alliance, a PEC grant recipient and local nonprofit, that pairs veterans and others in need with highly-trained service dogs. The grants are made possible through PEC’s Power of Change program, which allows members to donate by opting to round their electric bills to the nearest dollar each month.
