PEC is committed to providing safe, reliable, and low-cost power to all our members. We understand that electricity is an essential service, and we also know that some of our members are experiencing financial difficulty due to COVID-19.
In April, PEC began temporarily suspending disconnects for non-payment in order to assist these members. The cooperative also waived late fees, collection fees, same day service fees, and deposits for eligible members who request and qualify for assistance. Starting July 1, PEC will resume standard billing and collection operations. Members may continue to benefit from the COVID-19 relief fund through Nov. 1.
