Board of Directors acknowledge resignation of Randy Klaus

Former district 3 director resigned from the board Feb. 21

Today at its regular monthly meeting held in Liberty Hill, the Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) Board of Directors acknowledged the resignation of Randy Klaus, who formerly represented District 3. Klaus resigned from the board Feb. 21.

“Randy was involved in helping ensure the cooperative’s financial health and focused on keeping members’ rates low,” said Paul Graf, PEC Board President and District 6 Director. “We thank him for his service to the board and the members.”

The District 3 board vacancy will be filled in the cooperative’s annual director election, which is currently underway. This year, members will also elect directors in districts 2 and 4. Since the District 4 race is being held to fill a vacancy, the winner of that race will serve a two-year term.
