We’re taking rates back in time!
New savings are coming to your bill
In times like these, we are all looking for ways to save. That’s why PEC is happy to announce a rate reduction to our base power cost that is expected to save our members over $6 million per year! The new rate is effective June 1, and results in a monthly savings of $1.25 per member account for 1,250 kWh of use.
The format of your electric bill is changing, too. You will no longer see a power cost adjustment (PCA) line item on your bill. Instead, the PCA will be absorbed into the base power cost. The rate reduction combined with the PCA absorption means the new base power cost is just $.0455! The change means you’ll have simpler — and smaller — bills.
