PEC celebrates Read Across America Day
Watch our read-alouds and help young readers win a prize!
At PEC, we’re committed to supporting education and opportunity for Central Texas youth. In a cooperative-wide tradition, we participate in Read Across America Day, celebrating literacy. Although we can’t read to students in person this year, we’re thrilled to participate virtually with students, parents, and teachers.
PEC staff put together a collection of your elementary book favorites! Watch and share with others to help youth foster a love for reading.
Students can win cool PEC-branded prizes, simply by reading! All they need to do is fill out this logging sheet and submit it to [email protected] by March 31, 2021. Students must reach 500 or more minutes of reading to win a prize, and PEC will mail it to their home address. Children of all ages are eligible to participate as long as a parent or legal guardian is a PEC member.
