Save energy this summer with Wattson Raccoon
Register kids for PEC’s Camp Save-a-Watt
PEC is committed to modeling environmental stewardship and promoting conservation through educational programs. With the help of parents and teachers, Camp Save-a-Watt can help our youngest members learn important tips to reduce their energy use and help schools and parents save money.
To kick off summer vacation, your kindergarten through second-grade students can participate in Camp Save-a-Watt — a free, online summer camp. Campers can join Wattson Raccoon, cabin leader and PEC camp mascot, as he shares energy-saving tips, hosts fun activities, and gives cool prizes to his fellow PEC campers!
Students will receive a free Camp Save-a-Watt T-shirt upon registration and can earn points for their classes by participating in weekly conservation adventures and taking part in monthly fireside chats with Wattson and PEC experts — all conveniently online. The school with the most student participation will win a grand prize of $1,000.
Camp begins June 1 and will run through July 30. Learn more and sign-up your camper today at camp.pec.coop.
