Kick off summer with PEC’s Camp Save-a-Watt

Kids and parents, join PEC and Wattson Raccoon for Camp Save-a-Watt™, a free, fun-filled summer of weekly activities focused on electrical safety, energy conservation, and nature exploration. PEC’s free, virtual summer camp is developed and put on by our experts for students in kindergarten through third grade. Through hands-on weekly lessons, students learn about the importance of saving energy in everyday life, both at home and at school. With the help of parents and teachers, Camp Save-a-Watt can help our youngest members learn important tips to reduce their energy use, and help schools and parents save money.

Virtual camp

Camp Save-a-Watt’s weekly online lessons are geared toward students in kindergarten through third grade. Get ready to craft and color with us, complete science experiments, and learn how to save energy at home. Don’t forget to share your finished projects on PEC’s social media channels.

In-person events

Come explore electricity firsthand with Wattson Raccoon at a PEC office. This year, we’ve added two exciting in-person events where campers will get the chance to meet a PEC lineworker and participate in a solar car derby. Don’t miss the fun! Visit our website for dates and more information.

Enrollment for Camp Save-a-Watt runs through June 1, and the virtual camp kicks off June 6. To register and to learn more, visit camp.pec.coop.
