Our standards are high and then work safely round-the-clock to beat them. That’s why our reliability ratings are some of the best in the region. In fact, three out of four of our members experienced no unplanned outages this year; members, on average, experienced a power interruption once every 1.5 years, with the duration lasting less than 60 minutes.
Setting Up a New Commercial Account
If you’re new to our cooperative, please visit any PEC office or call toll-free 888-554-4732 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday to have electric service connected in your business’ name at a metered location. To expedite the application process, please have your identifying information and method of payment available.
Acceptable forms of ID include a tax identification number, Social Security number or driver’s license number and date of birth.
Membership is established with a one-time $50 refundable membership fee, and a $75 nonrefundable establishment fee is required for each new account. A deposit also may be required.
Scheduled service connections are completed Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with the exception of holidays. If you need your request completed within the next two business days or if you need electric service extended to a new service location that has never been metered, please let us know when you call or come by the office to request new service. An additional fee may be required for same day connects.
