During an outage, we’re committed to restoring your power as quickly and safely as possible.
When you report an outage via phone or SmartHub, we input your information and reported damage into our outage management system along with information from other members. This helps us map and pinpoint the affected areas and efficiently dispatch crews.
We begin our restoration at the point where the power feeds into our system. This could be on a transmission line, at a substation or on a main distribution line. After these repairs, the crews then work on remaining issues. Crews are assigned to areas that serve the greatest number of members and then work until electricity is restored to every member’s home.
