Service Requests
Have a tree that needs trimming? A light out of order? Want to lower your electric bills? We’d like to help.
To request on-site services:
- Log in to SmartHub.
- Select “Contact Us” from the main navigation menu.
- Select the reason for your contact request.
- Provide details in the comments field.
- Click “send.”
We’ll be in touch to arrange the best day and time for your on-site service – it’s that easy. You can also call us at 888-554-4732, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tree Trimming
If trees near PEC equipment are creating a hazardous situation, please call 888-554-4732.
If you see trees growing near our lines and facilities, let us know and we’ll send a crew to trim them back. Trees contacting electrical equipment can create hazardous conditions and cause power interruptions, especially during severe weather. Scheduled service is completed Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., except on holidays. Requests will be completed as soon as possible.
Please include the following information in the comments box:
- The type of tree(s) to be trimmed.
- A description of the PEC equipment (lines, pole, etc.), and how the vegetation is interfering with the equipment.
- Any additional information to help our crews locate the tree(s) interfering with the equipment.
Energy Audit
We’ll schedule an appointment to come to your home and show you specific ways to reduce your electric use and lower your monthly bills.
Please include the following information in the comments box:
- Number of people who live in the home.
- Square footage of the home and when it was built.
- Foundation type — slab, pier and beam, manufactured.
- Whether the home is one story or two.
- Whether you have a pool, spa or pond.
- If your home is all electric or gas and electric.
- Any recent changes to the home or location.
Light Repair
Let us know if the PEC light at your location is in need of repair. We will call you to confirm and process your request.
Scheduled service is completed Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., except on holidays. If you need your request completed within the next two business days, please call us at 888-554-4732 between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
If possible, please mark the light with a ribbon, a rope, colored tape or even a painted rock. Please include the following information in the comments box:
- Details of the situation: For example, if the light is blinking on and off, does not go off or does not come on.
- Description of the light location: For example, “on the right if you are facing the house,” “at the front of the property near the street” or “in the backyard.”
- Indicate how you marked the light to help our crews identify it.
Disconnect Service
To disconnect electric service that is in your name, please call us at 888-554-4732, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., or visit SmartHub online and submit a “Disconnect Service” request. We will need one business day to process your request.
Scheduled service disconnections are completed Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., except on holidays.
