We offer billing options to help smooth out the seasonal highs and lows reflected on your electric bills. The Fixed Payment Plan and the Average Payment Plan are available to residential, farm/ranch and water well members who are current on their accounts and have at least 12 months of history at the same location. You may enroll anytime, and payments under either plan begin with the first bill rendered after enrollment.
Fixed Payment Plan
Under the Fixed Payment Plan, you’ll pay a fixed amount each month based on the average electric use during the 12 months before the plan starts. PEC also will review your account periodically to determine if the plan should be reset to help avoid an excessive annual correction.
Average Payment Plan
On the Average Payment Plan, the payment is calculated from your rolling 12-month average. Unlike the Fixed Payment Plan, bills will not be the same amount every month.
