Who We Are
Pedernales Electric is a private electric utility owned by the members it serves. And just as we take pride in the fact that our members have a stake in PEC’s accomplishments, we seek to hire and cultivate a team of employees who personally shape the success of the Cooperative.
We’ve been providing reliable electric service and outstanding member service since 1938. Today we provide electricity to more than 236,000 active accounts throughout 8,100 square miles. Some of the fastest-growing counties in Texas, such as Hays and Williamson counties, are included in this territory.
A Growing Need
As our member base expands, we have a continuing need to add to our group of dedicated employees. Technological developments and innovation constantly change the way we do business, but above all else we emphasize personal interaction with our members.
