Pedernales Electric Cooperative marked a milestone in placing its 400,000th meter at the Buda Fire Department.
The co-op’s world-famous holiday lights will begin shining November 24 from 6 p.m. to midnight and will continue nightly through January 7, 2024.
Entries ranged from Bundt cakes and cupcakes to Mexican sweet bread and a variety of delicious confections.
Employees and their families gathered at the cooperative’s headquarters in Johnson City September 26, to put their best baked goods forward in celebration of the co-op’s 85th anniversary.
