Ways to Pay

It’s your bill. Pay it your way. Online, phone, cash, check, credit card, and more — we have an option for everyone.

Ways to pay

We offer multiple options for payment including online, phone, cash, check, credit card, and more. Choose the one that is right for you.

Save $1.50 every month by enrolling in automatic bank draft payments. To set up automatic payments with your credit card or by bank draft, or to manage your current automatic payment agreement, log in to your account. You also can set up, manage, or withdraw your automatic payment agreement by calling us toll-free at 844-886-9798. And you can save an extra $1.00 per month by signing up for paperless billing!

You can make payments on any of your PEC accounts from your computer, phone, or tablet. Actively manage your account or set it and forget it with recurring automatic payments by bank draft or credit card.

To pay without an account, use the Pay Now option. Simply enter your account number to view all current balances and simple payment instructions. Payments are applied to your account immediately.

Our secure, automated phone system is perfect for quick and easy payments anytime. Just call 844-886-9798 and follow the prompts.

We have convenient, self-service PEC Secure Pay Stations at each of our offices. Use them to make instant payments by cash, e-check, or credit card. You’ll need your account number, and if you pay with cash, change will not be dispensed. You can either pay with the exact amount of cash or the difference will be credited to your next bill. Self-service PEC Secure Pay Stations are available 24/7 at PEC offices.

If you prefer to pay your bill by mail, please send it to the following address:

Western Union, MoneyGram, and VanillaDirect are now accepting PEC payments at participating locations.

Western Union

A fee of $1.50 will be applied by Western Union to all transactions for processing PEC payments. Find and visit a participating Western Union location near you.

MoneyGram

With convenient locations across our service area, MoneyGram is an easy-to-use service that allows you to pay your bill closer to home. MoneyGram will apply cash payments securely and immediately to your account for a $1.50 merchant fee. Please reference PEC receiver #15898 when posting payments. Find a location near you.

VanillaDirect

Pay with cash at a variety of VanillaDirect locations for a $1.50 fee. You will need to bring your unique barcode, which you can find by logging in to your account. You can print the code or pull it up on your phone. To find participating locations, visit this page or enter your zip code on the ‘Pay by Cash’ page in your account.

For instructions on how to pay once you arrive at the location, see this helpful guide.

Payment plans

Take control of your electric bill with our payment plans, available to residential and farm/ranch members who are current on their accounts and have at least 12 months of billing history at the same location. You may enroll through your account, and payments under either plan begin with the first bill rendered after enrollment.

You’ll pay a fixed amount each month based on the average electric use at your location during the 12 months before the plan starts. We will review your account periodically to determine if the plan should be reset to help prevent an excessive annual correction. View a sample bill here.

Your payment is calculated based on the rolling 12-month use average at your location. Unlike the Fixed Payment Plan, your bills will not be the same amount every month, nor will an annual correction be applied. View a sample bill here.

Prepaid payment option

Pay as you go. This option allows you to pay for service before charges are incurred, eliminating late payment and reconnection fees. You can refill your account balance on your account, by phone, by mail, or at a PEC Secure Pay Station. Eligibility requirements apply — contact us to learn more.

Member Assistance Program

Each year, we earmark funds for member assistance and partner with area agencies that can help us match these contributions to the people who need them most.
